Can I just say I absolutely loved the AI Finale?

I'm sure there are blogs being posted all over the US of A tonight about this show. It was awesome!

I thoroughly enjoyed Danny and Lionel Richey singing. (Of course I just loved hearing Danny sing, period.) It reminded me that I want a Lionel Richey greatest hits cd.

Allison and Cindy Lauper were great. Kris and Keith Urban sounded awesome.

Seeing Kara out-sing bikini girl was nice, too. =)

When Steve Martin came out playing the banjo, I wasn't quite sure what to think. It took me a few minutes to stop laughing and realize that he was serious.

I mean, isn't that what you do when you see Steve Martin? Crack up laughing?

And I always love Rod Stewart.

(I won't get started on Tatiana, because my blood pressure started rising the minute I heard they were announcing the women nominees. Ugh!!)

And as for the winner? Well, I had my heart set on Danny, so I really didn't care who won. Adam is an outstanding performer, and Kris is really great, too.

But yay, Kris!!
